Together with Jojo Mayer, Sabian unleash the CH08 Chopper. This incomparable cymbal has a genuinely unique response that sounds way more frayed than a normal stack, and has been finished with loose rivets for a subtle, rattling edge. This cymbal is also a lot more friendly than a stack, since the decay can be tweaked by tightening or loosening the mourning wing nut of your cymbal stand. Open it up further for a more trashy attack or tighten it up for an almost synthetic, but no less delicious accent for complex, interesting beats.
